Roberto Doriguzzi Corin
Roberto Doriguzzi Corin is the head of the Distributed AI for dependable cyberSecuritY (DAISY) research unit at Fondazione Bruno Kessler in Trento, Italy. He earned his M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Trento and a Ph.D. in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Bologna. Before joining Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Roberto spent nearly nine years in the industry, primarily focussing on embedded systems for machine vision. He also worked as a research engineer at CREATE-NET (Center of REsearch And Telecommunication Experimentations for NETworked communities), where he contributed to managing research projects and developing proof-of-concept software prototypes. Since 2022, Roberto has been serving as a lecturer at the University of Trento, where he teaches courses to M.Sc. and Ph.D. students on AI technologies applied to cybersecurity.
His research interests lie in the field of cybersecurity, with a strong focus on Machine Learning, Software-Defined Networking and Resource Optimisation techniques.
