Michael Kevin Ntako Koungni is a PhD student in Information Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of Trento, Italy, with a grant funded by the Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Italy. Previously, he earned an MSc and BSc in Computer Sciences from the University of Yaounde I, Cameroon, followed by an MSc in Mathematical Sciences from the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences.

His research interests include information system security, machine learning, reinforcement learning for decision support systems. His PhD focuses on analysing adversarial machine learning attacks and proposing innovative techniques for their prevention, detection and mitigation with the objective of making ML-based detection systems more robust.
